Our Christmas lights have past their ‘best before date’ and the Town Council are striving to create a new and vibrant scheme for 2009/10.

Museum
The Town Council sponsors the Museum, and along with a handful of dedicated volunteers, Daventry’s history is kept alive through a variety of exhibitions, open days and events.
It is open on the first Saturday of every month from 10am until 1pm (in front of the Library).

Allotments
With rising food prices, environmental concerns and the trend to ‘grown your own produce’ demand for allotments is consistently high.
The Town Council are thrilled to report that the dispute relating to land at Drayton has finally been resolved in favour of the Town Council.

Hanging Baskets
This year the hanging baskets proved to be a huge success, adding a vibrant splash of colour throughout the town and lifting the spirits of both residents and visitors over what seemed to be a very wet and dreary summer.

Daventry Town Council is honoured to maintain this important monument, located on Abbey Street, near Vicar Lane.
