Allotments

Gardening is a great way to be involved with the great outdoors – it’s a good way to take light exercise, to be involved with nature, to watch the seeds that you sow grow into mature plants, and, what’s more, you get to eat lovely fresh fruit and vegetables as a reward!

Daventry Town Council has four allotment sites:-

Daneholme has 42 plots and is situated at the top of Welton Road

Drayton East has 52 plots and Drayton West has 48 plots.  They are situated at the end of Orchard Street

Staverton Road has 27 plots and is situated on Western Avenue

Welton Road has 31 plots and is situated at the bottom of Welton Road

The cost of an allotment with effect from March 2010 will be £2.50 per pole / 5.2 metres square.  See the quick link for further information.

Due to the increase in popularity of allotment gardening we have no plots vacant at present. If you would like to add your name to our waiting list, please email Julia Lane or telephone 01327 301246 and we will send you one of our allotment application forms. Alternatively a copy of the Allotment Application Form can be downloaded here.
