Vacancy on Abbey South Ward

A casual vacancy has arisen on Daventry Town Council following the resignation of Cllr Judith Amery (Abbey South Ward).  Cllr Amery resigned due to ongoing work commitments.

Speaking on behalf of council, Deborah Jewell, Town Clerk, thanked Cllr Amery for her service and wished her well for the future, adding, "At the end of the day Town Councillors are volunteers and it is important they achieve a good work life balance".
