Aims for Daventry Town Council Museum
To collect, preserve and safeguard items of memorabilia, artefacts and archival material of Daventry town.
To promote the preservation of the history of Daventry town, to provide information and increase the understanding of the town’s history.
To enable public viewing of items of the collection at the regular open days and at other exhibitions for learning and enjoyment.
To document and record a list of the collection items held in trust, which can be easily accessible by unique number and location register.
To allow the collection to enable and assist in research and educational matters.
