Remembrance Sunday 2015

On Sunday 8 November, Daventry Service of Remembrance will be held at the War Memorial off Abbey Street, followed by a church service at Holy Cross Church

The service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Congratulations to our winner and runner of our Community Award at the first ever Daventry Schools Festival which took place at the iCon Innovation Centre on Saturday 10th October.

Daventry Mayor Cllr Wendy Randall was on hand to present our winner Bea Glover (pictured) from Parker School with a £50. voucher to spend at a shop of her choice and Parker School will display the newly introduced annual shield.. Read More »

School admissions for the September 2016 term at Northamptonshire schools are now open. No child is automatically allocated a place – please make sure you have applied to Northamptonshire County Council by the following dates.

Primary Admissions

If your child turns four before 31st August, 2016, it's time to apply for their primary school place.

American Airmen Remembered

American Airmen Remembered

Nine American Airmen who lost their lives after crashing in to the Gee Mast on Borough Hill in 1944 after returning from a bombing mission in Germany were remembered during a special service at the War Memorial, Abbey Street, Daventry on Sunday 23rd August 2015.
