Bumper Attendances for Daventry Town Fireworks and Remembrance Day

This Saturday, more than 12,000 people attended Daventry Town Council's annual firework display, that's a whopping 3000 more than last year. It was fantastic to see so many different generations enjoying the event, singing along to the music and giving an excellent rendition of "Let it Go" from Frozen. Daventry's Annual Firework Display

FREE ADDMISSION - NO TICKET REQUIRED

Daventry Town Council would like to invite you to their annual firework display taking place on Saturday 7th November at Daventry and District Sports Club, Western Avenue, Daventry, NN11 4ST. Admission is FREE gates open at 6:00pm and the display by local company Amazing Fireworks is set to music and will start at 7:30pm.

Commemorating Remembrance Day at Daventry Museum

Commemorating Remembrance Day at Daventry Museum

Daventry Museum is open this Saturday 7th November from 10am to 4pm to remember the fallen in the commemorative exhibition "Memories of World War Two".

Along with special exhibits by Roger Money and Gerry Thompson, visitors will be able to listen and sing along to wartime songs played on the Museum's Piano and view the thought provoking displays.

Daventry Twinning - 30 years of Partnership with Westerburg

Last week Daventry Town Council and Daventry Twinning Association are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Twinning partnership 'Building a bridge of International Understanding' between Daventry and Westerburg in Germany.

Remembrance Sunday 2015

Remembrance Sunday 2015

On Sunday 8 November, Daventry Service of Remembrance will be held at the War Memorial off Abbey Street, followed by a church service at Holy Cross Church

The service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Congratulations to our winner and runner of our Community Award at the first ever Daventry Schools Festival which took place at the iCon Innovation Centre on Saturday 10th October.
