On Monday 1st February The Mayor of Daventry Cllr Wendy Randal was invited along to Longlands Specialist Care Centre located on London Road to celebrate Dignity in Care Action Day. Town Council Community Grant helps funds Life Saving Defibrillator

Daventry Mayor Cllr Wendy Randal was invited along to see the new Defibrillator which is being installed outside the Select Convenience store in Middlemore.

Daventry Town Council awarded The Middlemore Residents' Association a community grant of £690 to for the purchase of a cabinet to house the defibrillator, which was approved and supplied by The British Heart Foundation.

Daventry embraces the Spirit of Christmas

Daventry's community spirit shone through on Friday evening as Daventry Town Council gave residents an evening to remember.

The Town centre looked magical as the Christmas lights came on and the Spirit of Christmas event began, with children enjoying free entertainment including Santa's Grotto, face painting and a circus skills workshop.

Daventry Retailers To Stay Open for the Lantern Parade

Many of the shops in Sheaf Street along with some of your favourite café's and restaurants are joining in the festivities and staying open for the Lantern Parade on Friday 4th December 2015.

Christmas Lights to Shine on 4th December

Daventry's Christmas lights will be up and ready to celebrate the 'Spirit of Christmas' and 'Christmas Lantern Parade' being held on the 4th December 2015
