Daventry residents are invited to come along to the launch of Astro Bowls for Daventry, this Friday 31st March, at the Daventry Museum.
Astro Bowls is a new form of the game to enable people to play bowls throughout the year using artificial astro-turf pitches. The Mayor of Daventry, Cllr Glenda Simmonds, and the JuditSingers will be holding an evening performance on Saturday 25th March, in aid of the Mayor's charity, Macmillan Daventry.

2017 sees the start of a new partnership between Daventry Town Council and Citizens Advice Daventry, in response to the introduction of Universal Credit and the subsequent rise in the number of people with personal debt.
The Town Council are providing a grant to Citizens Advice to recruit and train several volunteers to become specialist advisors within the field of benefits and debt.
