The revised scheme for the New Canal Arm in Daventry Town is to be considered by Daventry District Council Planning Committee tonight @ 6:15pm.
Daventry Town Council submitted the following objections and concerns in October 2011 and will also be submitting a further representation at tonight's meeting.

Daventry Town Council are proud to announce that 'Partridge in a Pear Tree' design for the Daventry Spirit of Christmas Schools Competition submitted by The Grange School and Art Club has been chosen to be displayed in the Gazebo of Sheaf Street over the festive season.

Join us for Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday 13th November being held at the War Memorial Abbey Street, Daventry followed by a service at Holy Cross Church. The Service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women.

Daventry Town Council's annual Firework Display will be taking place on Saturday 5th November 2016 at The Parker E-ACT Academy, Ashby Road, Daventry, NN11 0QF.

The Mayor of Daventry, Cllr Glenda Simmonds would like to ask residents for their support with this year's Harvest Festival by donating food for the local food bank via a collection box in the Daventry Town Council Offices.

The Daventry Flower & Vegetable Show held at the Community Centre on Sunday 4th September was a huge success and it is hoped that the show will now become an annual event.
The show, organised by the Daventry Allotment & Gardening Association (DAGA) supported by Daventry Town Councils, saw in excess of 200 exhibits being awarded individual rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Five overall category winners were each presented.. Read More »
