Stargazing Live comes to Daventry

Daventry Town Council invites you to come along to Stargazing Live. This free event takes place at Daventry Museum on Saturday 1st April 2017 from 6:00pm until 10.00 pm.

A local 'Astronomy for Fun' group are putting on a starry event to coincide with the return of BBC Stargazing Live TV show at the end of March 2017.

JuditSingers Perform in aid of Mayor’s Charity

The Mayor of Daventry, Cllr Glenda Simmonds, and the JuditSingers will be holding an evening performance on Saturday 25th March, in aid of the Mayor's charity, Macmillan Daventry.

The revised scheme for the New Canal Arm in Daventry Town is to be considered by Daventry District Council Planning Committee tonight @ 6:15pm.

Daventry Town Council are proud to announce that 'Partridge in a Pear Tree' design for the Daventry Spirit of Christmas Schools Competition submitted by The Grange School and Art Club has been chosen to be displayed in the Gazebo of Sheaf Street over the festive season.

Daventry Town Council's annual Firework Display which took place on Saturday 5th November 2016 at The Parker E-ACT Academy was a resounding success.

Thousands came to watch the fantastic firework display set to music by Daventry company MLE Pyrotechnics. and The Parker E-ACT Academy playing fields provided a stunning backdrop for the event.

Remembrance Day 2016

Remembrance Day 2016

Join us for Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday 13th November being held at the War Memorial Abbey Street, Daventry followed by a service at Holy Cross Church. The Service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women.

20 Million Steps x2

Thank you to everyone who took part in the 20 Million Steps x 2 Challenge that took place from the 23rd to 25th September.
