Gardening is a great way to be involved with the great outdoors – it's a good way to take light exercise, to be involved with nature, to watch the seeds that you sow grow into mature plants, and, what's more, you get to eat lovely fresh fruit and vegetables as a reward!
The current cost of an allotment plot, Sept 2021/22, is £4.90 Square Meters (per pole) meaning a 5 pole plot will cost you just £24.50 per year.
