Join us for a canine carnival celebrating Daventry's four-legged friends. Bark in the Park Fun Dog Show features 12 classes including Best in Show, along with a Recall Scurry and Have-a-Go Agility Course to test the skills of your prized pooch. There will also be stalls selling dog treats and toys, as well as tasty food and drink and a craft tent. Well-behaved dogs welcome on a lead.

• Time: 12pm – 4pm
• Location: The Hollow, Daventry, NN11 4GG
• Entry: Free entry for spectators. £2 to enter each class of the dog show, or take part in the Recall Scurry and Have-a-Go Agility (no card payment is available - cash only).
• Parking: Free car parks are located around the town (check signage for time restrictions)

This free event is funded and organised by Daventry Town Council for the local community to enjoy.

Enter your prized pooch into one of 11 classes – you can enter as many as you like! Rosettes will be awarded to first to fifth place in each class. Winners of each class will progress to compete for Best in Show at the end of the day.

Registration: Visit the registration tent on the day.

The Have-A-Go Agility Course is great fun for you and your dog. It's made up of various obstacles for your dog to run through, jump over, and weave in and out of. Suitable for dogs aged 12 months and over.

Cost: £2 per go. Cash only, payable on the day at the arena.

There will also be an Agility Demo by the pro pups from DogWhys, which is free to watch.

Test your Dog to see if they have the fastest recall in Daventry. There will be prizes for Fastest Tall Dog (over 35cm) and Fastest Short Dog (under 35cm).

Cost: £2 per go. Cash only, payable on the day at the arena.

• Stalls: Explore a wide variety of doggy related stalls selling accessories, toys, food, treats and more. Plus food and drink and gifts for pups and people.
• Family Fun: Enjoy fun activities and entertainment throughout the day, including a craft tent and Doggy Trail, free face painter and balloon modeller. Some activities on other stalls may be chargeable, so please check with the vendor before you join the queue.
