Flag-raising Events

Daventry Town Council takes part in many flag-raising events throughout the year to pay homage to the various global and national events that take place.

The flag-raising takes place at the Twinning Area in the Town and all members of the community are invited.

We hold a short ceremony thanking and remembering those who lost their lives. The Mayor attends along with the Mace Bearer plus a clergy to give a blessing.
