Become a Daventry Litter Hero!

Daventry Town Council wants to make a difference to the environment in our town and has launched a litter picking scheme encouraging residents to target areas that can easily be cleared of litter as part of their daily exercise or have a passion for their environment.

Litter blights our streets and parks and with residents support, Daventry Town Council wants to inspire people to eliminate litter now and for future generations.

Sadly, due to Covid-19 Government guidelines, our organised Litter Picks have been suspended but if you want to get out and make a difference where you live - why not apply for one of our litter picking kits? Its easy, just complete our online application form below:

DTC Community Litter Picks

Prior to COVID-19 Government guidance, Daventry Town Council launched a litter picking scheme targeting areas within Daventry. Local residents were asked to pledge an hour of their time to join the Community Ranger and Ward Councillors on these picks.

As soon as Covid-19 Government guidance allows, Daventry Town Council will plan monthly walks, led by our Community Ranger Charlotte Jones. All equipment required is provided by Daventry Town Council.

Please check our website and social media for regular updates and details of the first Litter Pick, after Lockdown
