Fireworks Night

Daventry's annual Fireworks Display returns to Daventry Town on Saturday 7th November 2020. Hosted at the Parker E-Act, gates will open at 6.30pm with the display starting at 7.30pm. Entry is free.

Remembrance Day Parade and Service

The Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade and Service will take place in Daventry on Sunday 10th November, 2019. The parade will commence at 10.30am at St James Infant School, proceeding along Tavern Lane, the High Street and Abbey Street before finishing at the War Memorial where a short service will be held to include the calling of the Roll of Honour and laying of wreaths.

Members of the public are also invited to attend a Remembrance Day service at the Holy Cross Church after the parade, led by Daventry Churches Together.

The parade will be led by the Liberty Drum Corps, with Town and District Councillors and Civic Dignitaries joined by organisations and community groups from across Daventry.

On Monday 11th November at 11am, a short service will also take place to mark Armistice Day at the brick gazebo at the top of Sheaf Street, outside the Post Office.

Christmas Market/Spirit of Christmas

On Saturday 28th November 2020 Daventry will host it's combined Christmas Markets and Spirit of Christmas Events, which will include a plethora of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

From Santa's Grotto; Reindeer and Children's Entertainers in the day to a Christmas Market; Live Music and the Christmas Lights Switch On later in the evening. There will be lots going on and plenty to get involved with.

The Christmas Market, based on the High Street, will include a Prosecco bar; a gin bar; various beers, ciders and ales; a hog roast; handmade jewellery; homemade chutneys and jams; and more – providing you with the perfect place to buy those last-minute Christmas presents (or even treat yourself).

It really is a fun packed day/evening with something for all the family.
