Traditionally The Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade and Service usually take place on the Sunday closest to the 11th of November each year in Daventry.

A Service of Remembrance is held at the Daventry War Memorial, off Abbey Street, to include the calling of the Roll of Honour and laying of wreaths.

This is traditionally followed by a church service at Holy Cross Church led by Daventry Churches Together.

The service commemorates the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
