Daventry Flower and Vegetable Show

Daventry Town Council are pleased to be working with Daventry Allotment and Gardening Association (DAGA) and Daventry Town allotment holders to showcase the fruits of their labour at The Daventry Flower and Vegetable Show on Sunday 4th September 2016 at Daventry Community Centre.

The show will be open to the general public from 1pm and admission is FREE.

Entries are open to all allotment holders in the Daventry and Norton Area and to gardeners who are members of DAGA. There is something for everyone, with categories for fruit, vegetables, flowers, novelty/giggle and a separate category for children to participate in the fun.

Judging will be undertaken by an RHA appointed judge and prizes will be awarded by the Mayor of Daventry.

Alongside the show there is a Craft and Cruelty Free Market, refreshments with homemade cakes and a raffle and a charity auction of the home grown produce.

A comprehensive show brochure with all the categories and entry forms can be downloaded at the Daventry Town Council website or picked up at The DAGA store located on the Welton Road allotment site which is open on Sundays from 10:00am until 11:30am.
