Daventry Motorcycle Festival 2017 is a roaring success

Daventry's annual motorcycle festival came into the town centre this Saturday and it was a roaring success.

The town was buzzing with motorcycle enthusiasts and family's enjoying the array of motorcycles along with the free fairground rides, stunt shows, stalls, bands and side car rides.

It began when more than 300 motorcycles of all styles and ages, including the Daventry-built Hesketh's, riding into Daventry from Daventry Town FC. led by the Mayor of Daventry Cllr Lynne Taylor who arrived in style within a side car. The motorcycles lined up along High Street, Sheaf Street and connecting roads for all to admire.

The Festival is produced by a dedicated team of volunteers supported by Daventry Town Council who work tirelessly to provide the town with an event to be proud of. Thank you to Daventry Motorcycle Festival Committee along with local company Juice Sound and Light for all you do, it's a pleasure to work with you.
