Alternative Art Exhibition makes a colourful impression

On Wednesday 20th June 2018, the artists of Nevermore Tattoo Parlour displayed their artwork at The Foundry Artisan Café as part of Daventry Arts Festival.

Opening as a one-off exhibition, the display featured an array of mixed media to include oil portraits on canvas (including a portrait of the late Terry Smith), pencil work and decoupage to name a few.

Danielle Deeming, Studio Manager for Nevermore Tattoo Parlour said of the evening, "I am so proud of what our artists have accomplished, and it was amazing to see such a wonderful turnout. All of our artists specialise in different areas of art, with different mediums and it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase this."

Paul Donnelly, owner of The Foundry Artisan Café added, "We were thrilled to be able to host such an incredible event. The idea for The Foundry was that it would be a creative hub for creative individuals to come together and last night was no exception."

Cllr Lynn Jones, Mayor of Daventry, attended the wonderful exhibition and commented saying, "The level of skill shown by the artists is unbelievable. The beauty and intricacy of the art was breath taking and I am very proud that Daventry boasts such a level of talented artists. Daventry Arts Festival is a wonderful way of providing a creative outlet to display such talent"
