Discover Daventry’s creative side at this year’s Arts Festival

Daventry Arts Festival returns from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of June, with events around the town celebrating all-things arty. From photography to floristry and much more in between, there is plenty to enjoy over the weekend.

To entertain the little ones, Munchkins and Monsters Theatre Company return to the festival for two free performances, with just a few tickets remaining. Meanwhile, art-lovers will be spoilt for choice with two diverse exhibitions of artwork, one of textiles, embroidery and floristry at Holy Cross Church, and one of tattoo art at Nevermore Tattoo Studio.

Mayor of Daventry, Cllr Mike Arnold, who himself will be hosting a guided walk of Borough Hill as part of the festival, said: "The Arts Festival is a great celebration of Daventry's creative and cultural side, and it's fantastic to see the variety of events on offer – many of which are free of charge.

There is something for everyone in the programme, whether you want to explore the tower of Holy Cross Church, join Daventry Choral Society for a day of singing, or discover the work of some of Daventry's best photographers."
