Save the Date: Daventry Spring Market Is Coming!
Daventry Town Council are delighted to bring their Spring Market, and hopefully some sunshine as well, to Daventry High Street on Saturday 12th June between 10am – 3pm.
We will be hosting 40 independent stallholders, all selling a wide range of products from yummy sweet and savoury foods plus all kinds of ornaments, crafts, handmade items and gorgeous clothing, gifts, homewares and much more.
We will also have a few hand selected hot food stalls for you to tempt your taste buds with too from German Sausages to Hog Roast, from Indian Cuisine to Gourmet Burgers*
Newly appointed Mayor of Daventry and Chair of Daventry Town Council Cllr Karen Tweedale will be in attendance and said:
"I am really looking forward to the Spring Market and it is so needed. It is brilliant that we the Town Council are putting on this event for our community to look forward to. Our seasonal markets which we were able to host last year have proved to be very popular and the reception to them overwhelmingly positive so great that we get to host another."
This is a free event, and all the family is welcome. Free parking is available too in the various car parks around the town.
While you are in Daventry why not stay for something to eat at one of the many cafes and restaurants. The town also boasts a whole host of amazing independent shops for you to see.
The High Street will be closed on the day and stalls will be spread out along the whole of the Street to allow for social distancing, but we do ask residents to please remember:
- Be Kind and remember to keep your social distance
- Follow the government guidelines relating to covid-19
- Do not attend if you are shielding, self-isolating or have Covid-19 symptoms
* Please note: Stalls and products subject to change without prior notice.
More information regarding the event can be found on Daventry Town Council's website: www.daventrytowncouncil.gov.uk/spring-market
