DTC Skydiving Team Prepare to Fly!
A reminder that this Sunday (26 September), some of the Daventry Town Council team (plus equally daft friends), are skydiving from 10,000ft over South Northamptonshire. Luckily all for a great cause as it is in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK).
MDUK is a charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.
Some of those undertaking the Skydive is DTC Operations Officer Mel Bland, pictured with Daventry Mayor Cllr. Karen Tweedale who is spearheading this charity challenge. Also jumping is DTC Councillor Matt Churchley (top of picture), who said:
"I am diving as part of a team of volunteers and was asked to take part by Karen Tweedale - Mayor of Daventry. As a fellow Town Councillor I wanted to show my support for this year's chosen charity and to help raise some money for a great cause. I had a blast last time I did it and obviously couldn't refuse such an opportunity. Please support me the team as every donation makes a difference."
The Skydiving team hope to raise a signification amount of money with this, slightly bonkers but equally brilliant, fundraising endeavor which you can donate too via the link below.
Good luck and fly high everyone!
