Daventry Town Council Stands With The People of Ukraine

Daventry Town Council want to reach out to all of our Ukrainian residents, and anyone with friends and families affected by, or concerned about, current events in Ukraine.

Daventry Town Council read out the following statement at last nights (Monday 28 February 2022) Town Council Meeting:

"We would like to express how deeply saddened and shocked every member of our community is by the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and with Ukrainians who have made homes in our town and country. We urge our international community to work together to find a diplomatic solution and restore peace."
