May Half Term Pom Pom Fun
Join Daventry Town Council this May Half Term for some Pom-Pom Making Workshops, hosted at Daventry Museum on Tuesday 31st May and Wednesday 1st June.
The workshops are free and family friendly as we encourage families to join us in making wool decorations which can be turned into decorative banners, bobbles for clothes, festive decorations, or even little creatures!
Attendees will be guided on how to make pom-poms of various sizes as part of the ongoing Daventry Crochet Christmas Tree Project, to be displayed in town later this year. Participants can also make extra Pom-Poms to take home and show off to friends and family.
Daventry Town Council will supply all materials and equipment and no knitting experience is required. The sessions are informal and drop in so no pre-booking is necessary. Just come along and join us for some crafting fun. However children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Whilst at Daventry Museum, visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy their recently curated Queen's Jubilee Scavenger Trail and Exhibition, which celebrates Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee and historic 70 year reign.
Daventry Town Council is involved with several local community yarn projects such as the Daventry Tree Project. Find out how to get involved by visiting: Knitting & Crochet Projects
The Pop-Pom making workshops are funded and organised by Daventry Town Council.
