Town Noticeboards Royal Makeover

Town Noticeboards Royal Makeover

Daventry Town Council have given the notice board at New Street Park a majestic makeover to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Year. The town centre noticeboard was given a well-deserved lick of paint and refurbishment to display town news and upcoming DTC community events.

A commemorative tree was also planted at the Park as part of the Queen's Green Canopy project initiative set up to mark the historic occasion. We hope the tree will be enjoyed by visitors to the popular park for many years to come.

In the run up to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend, (2nd - 5th June), visit our Queen's Jubilee 2022 page for information on our upcoming crafty crown making workshop, links to free downloadable decorations and activity sheets plus details on national celebrations.
