Daventry Litterheroes Reassemble for the Great British Spring Clean

Daventry Litterheroes Reassemble for the Great British Spring Clean

Daventry Town Council is relaunching our monthly Community Litter Picks for 2023. As we step into Spring, we are hosting our first community litter pick at the Grange Estate on Saturday, 25 March 2023.

Continuing our ongoing Litter Campaign, we once again extend an open invitation to all residents to give up an hour of their time each month and help us tackle litter hot spots within Daventry Town.

Our first litter pick date coincides with The Keep Britain Tidy – Great British Spring Clean Event 2023. Daventry Town Council has regularly supported the annual national clean-up campaign, which encourages members of the great British public and community groups to collect and recycle rubbish safely.

The first Daventry Town Council litter pick of 2023 has been organised for 11am – 12pm on Saturday 25 March 2023, meeting at: The Pike & Eel Pub Car Park, Tamar Square, Grange Estate, Daventry, NN11 4RB.

The organised litter pick will be led by DTC Community Ranger Charlotte Jones, with accompanying town councillors and DTC staff members.

Equipment will be provided if you haven't got your own to bring with you and there is no booking required, simply just come along on the day.

Everyone is welcome, although children in attendance will need to be supervised by a responsible adult.

We hope you can join us on any, if not all, of our monthly community picks, as we continue to help keep Daventry tidy.
