Daventry Mayor's Bark in the Park Charity Dog Show

Do you have the cutest puppy, perhaps a golden oldie, a handsome or scruffy pooch? If so, then why not bring them along to Daventry Mayor's Bark in the Park Charity Dog Show at The Hollow, (Daventry, NN11 9YB) on Sunday, 23rd April 2023.

The fundraising event organised by Daventry Mayor, Cllr. Malcolm Ogle, is in aid of his mayoral charity Marie Curie. The event will include a Fun Dog Show with 14 classes, including Best in Show, a Recall Scurry, a Have-a-go Agility course, Demonstrations, Stalls, Crafts, Games, Tombola, Food, Refreshments and more!*

You don't need to own a dog to enjoy the day; however, if you have a dog, simply bring your pup along and enter them into as many classes or activities as you like. Entries are welcome in all classes, and there is a £2 fee per class. Registration is on the day and starts at 12pm. The event will finish at 4pm.

Daventry Mayor Cllr Malcolm Ogle commented about the upcoming event:

"The Dog Show event hopes to be a fantastic family day that celebrates dogs and all they bring to our lives. Whether you enter your pet pooch or just come along to spectate and enjoy the entertainment, the day will be fun for everyone. I look forward to seeing the variety of dogs on show and making lots of 4-legged friends."

PLEASE NOTE: All dogs must be kept on a lead. Please bring poo bags and clear up after your dog on the day to help keep our lovely open spaces clean and tidy.
