Daventry Motorcycle Festival is revving to go for 2023
On Saturday 10th June 2023, Daventry Motorcycle Festival will return to Daventry Town Centre, with a variety of motorcycles, spanning the eras to thrill people of all ages.
The festival is organised by a group of volunteers, in partnership with several local stakeholders, including Juice Sound and Lighting, Daventry Town Council and West Northants Council.
As well as featuring the traditional 'Show and Shine' competition, which this year will include scooters, there will also be a display of vintage, classic, modern, and customised motorcycles, a bike stunt show, fairground, street entertainment and dancers, live music, a variety of exhibitors and caterers, plus various free activities for children and families to get involved with.
This year will also see the return of the legendary ride-in with motorbikes arriving onto the High Street. It is recommended that spectators arrive for 9.45am to view the grand parade of motorcycles in preparation for the festivals official opening at 10am.
Cllr Malcolm Ogle, Mayor of Daventry and Chair of Council, said,
"The Daventry Motorcycle Festival is a popular annual event and something many residents look forward to attending. The Festival brings together the motorcycling community to create a wonderful atmosphere as visitors flock to Daventry to enjoy the motor-inspired celebrations. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of last year's ride-in procession and know from my small involvement then how hard the organisers work behind the scenes to coordinate the most loved event.I look forward to seeing many families in attendance and seeing the vast array of motor vehicles on display. "
Daventry Motorcycle Festival will take place in Daventry Town Centre on Saturday 10th June 2023 from 10am – 4pm. Entry is free to visitors.
