Get Crafty with us this Summer!
Daventry Town Council invite residents to be part of Daventry Museum's new Made in Daventry & Its Surrounds Exhibition and become crafty makers at our Makes in the Museum workshops.
As part of our popular Summer Activity Days 2023 programme of events, we are excited to host x2 drop-in workshops at Daventry Museum on Thursday 17 August, and Friday 25 August. Participants can enjoy making summer-inspired crafts, including jellyfish, suns, and pom-poms, which will later be displayed in the museum's latest exhibit. People and places around Daventry inspire the Made in Daventry & Its Surrounds exhibit which also celebrates creativity and crafts within the region.
The museum's FREE sessions are drop-in, so no pre-booking is required. All ages are welcome, but an adult MUST accompany children at all times. Attendees can stay for the full two hours or come and go as desired.
Whilst at the sessions, families can also visit Daventry Museum, which has lots of fun and interactive children's activities. The museum will be open from 9.30am - 1.30pm on both Makes in the Museum Workshop dates.
