Join our Random Acts of Crafty Kindness Project!

This Christmas, Daventry Town Council will be hosting a Random Acts of Crafty Kindness Project!🎄

We will be reusing the beautiful small willow tree structures from our 2022 Christmas Tree Craft project and redecorating them with beautiful handmade decorations made from yarn, paper, willow, clay, and lace.

The trees will later be displayed in shops within the town, and the decorations will be offered to anyone who requests one during the festive period until the tree is bare... besides some lights and pom-pom bunting!

We would love residents to join this community project by helping make the decorations and personalise the trees.

If you want to start knitting, crocheting, crafting, paper or lace making, please get in touch so we can get you started pronto. Can't knit or crochet? No problem, you could make a crafty decoration of any kind!

Daventry's Crochet & Knitting Group will share some yarn-based ideas on Facebook, and we also have basic knitting and crochet bauble patterns on our website that can be used, but if you have your own designs, that's fine also.
