Free Family Easter Activities from Daventry Town Council
Daventry Town Council is excited to host a programme of free school holiday activities during the Easter Holidays. The various activities will run from Monday 7th April - Wednesday 16th April 2025 and hope to help young people stay active, learn new skills, and have fun during the school break.
Children can choose from four fun activities from our Easter Programme and are welcome to attend as many as they like.
- Football For All: The drop-in sessions offer free professional coaching and a fun kickabout on the park for football fans.
- Game On Session: Families can enjoy a competitive afternoon of board game fun for all ages at local café Zepic Games and Events. Simply drop-in on the day to get involved.
- Daventry Museum will be hosting a drop-in Makes in the Museum Event, where children can get crafty creating Easter bunny portraits, paper tulips and handprint bunnies. There will also be a scavenger hunt around the museum, giving you a great excuse to explore the fascinating Folk Art Exhibition that is currently on display.
- Nature Noodles Forest School: Connect with nature at one of our drop-in sessions, spending time among the trees to learn about wildlife and the natural world around us.
Mayor of Daventry Cllr Karen Tweedale commented on the Easter Activity Programme:
"Don't miss out on an amazing array of fun-filled Easter Holiday activities carefully organized by our fantastic team. It's a chance to make memories with your family and have an Egg-cellent Easter! We hope to see you there."
This free programme of half term activities is funded and organised by Daventry Town Council to support local families and young people.
Activities are also being planned for the summer holidays, with full dates and details published nearer the time at: www.daventrytowncouncil.gov.uk.
