Daventry Town welcomes a new Mayor
Following Daventry Town Council's Annual General Meeting on Monday 14th May 2018, Cllr Lynn Jones was appointed to the position of Mayor of Daventry for the council year 2018/2019. Cllr Lynn Jones has been a Councillor for Daventry Town since 2013 and currently represents Drayton Ward.

DTC appoints Community Ranger for Daventry Town
Daventry Town Council has announced today that they have appointed a Community Ranger for Daventry Town.

Daventry Town Council confirms Councillors for 2018
Following the elections that took place in Daventry on Thursday 3rd May 2018, Daventry Town Council is pleased to confirm its newly elected Council. Out of the seven wards in the Town of Daventry Parish, six were uncontested. Abbey South had three candidates and therefore went to public vote on 3rd May.

Daventry's bells ring out in memory of William Bailey
On Monday 30th April 2018 at 7.30pm the Daventry Branch of the Peterborough Diocesan Guild Bell Ringers rang a peal of bells at the Holy Cross Church in Daventry in memory of William Bailey. Daventry Town Mayor, Cllr Lynne Taylor, attended the short service ahead of the bell ringing at the Holy Cross, along with Deputy Mayor Lynn Jones. The service was conducted by Rev. DTC supports residents over loss of parking on the Grange and Southbrook estates
This week, Daventry Town Council attended a planning meeting at Daventry District Council offices. Having listened to concerns raised by residents, the Town Council submitted objections to the proposed developments on garage sites on the Grange and Southbrook estates.

Daventry Town Council sponsors Police Community Support Officer for Daventry Town centre
