Unauthorised Encampment - Heartlands Business Park
Daventry Town Council are aware of an unauthorised encampment on Heartlands Business Park and have taken the necessary steps, in liaison with the Police, for those persons to leave the land as per legal process.

Celebrate the Jubilee with a Picnic in our Parks
In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
In the run up to the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend which takes place from Thursday 2nd to 5th June 2022, Daventry Town Council is encouraging residents to organise their own Picnic in the Park in one of Daventry's leafy open spaces.

Daventry NORSE Visit: #MayorOnTour
Daventry Mayor Cllr. Lynne Taylor braved the cold temperatures last week on the latest stop of her #Mayorontour series when she visited the team at Daventry NORSE.
NORSE contend with all weathers to deliver a core service within Daventry of waste collection, ground maintenance and street cleansing. They are often unsung heroes that Daventry Town Council wanted to acknowledge and celebrate.

Calling All Litter Heroes! Join Us Tomorrow!
Daventry Town Council wants to make a difference to the environment in our town and last month launched our own litter picking scheme targeting areas within Daventry.
Local residents are being asked to pledge an hour of their time to join the Community Ranger and Ward Councillors on these picks.

Daventry Town Council to Open Play Areas - 4th July 2020
In recognition of the importance of play to children and young people, as of Saturday 4th July, Daventry Town Council will be re-opening all the play areas in the Town.
Daventry Town Council manages 40 play areas and each play area is inspected weekly by a dedicated play area inspector who makes sure that the area and equipment is safe, secure, and well-maintained, but it will not be cleaned or sanitised.... Read More »

Daventry’s Open Spaces Transferred To Town Council
Public open spaces in Daventry have been transferred to Daventry Town Council as preparations to reorganise local government in Northamptonshire continue.
The transfer includes the New Street Recreation Ground and other public open space across the town, but excludes Daventry Country Park and Borough Hill.
