DTC: Flying the Red Ensign for Merchant Navy Day

NEWS: Daventry town residents asked to comment on the Proposed Submission Local Plan Part 2 by DDC
Daventry Town residents are being offered the opportunity to comment on the Proposed Submission Local Plan Part 2 from 13th August to 5th October 2018.

Daventry Museum and Daventry Town Council’s events to mark 100 years since the end of WWI
Today, 8th August 2018, marks the 100 day countdown to the ending of World War One. On 8th August 1918, the Battle of Amiens took place, which was the beginning of the Allied offensive and one of the greatest advances that had been seen since the start of the war. Exactly 100 days later, on 11th November 1918, the armistice treaty was signed, signifying the end of the war.

Daventry Town residents provided with the opportunity to comment on local government restructure
From Monday 18th June 2018, Daventry Town residents will be provided with the opportunity to comment on the future of local government in Northamptonshire.

Daventry Photography Competition - a flash for Arts Festival
On Saturday 23rd June 2018, Cllr Lynn Jones, Mayor of Daventry, attended an awards ceremony for the winner of Daventry Arts Festival 'Photography Competition'.
The competition was run by Daventry Photographic Society and saw over thirty entrants for the 2018 competition.

Alternative Art Exhibition makes a colourful impression
On Wednesday 20th June 2018, the artists of Nevermore Tattoo Parlour displayed their artwork at The Foundry Artisan Café as part of Daventry Arts Festival.
Opening as a one-off exhibition, the display featured an array of mixed media to include oil portraits on canvas (including a portrait of the late Terry Smith), pencil work and decoupage to name a few.
