Elections that were to be held on 7th May this year have now been postponed for a year.
This means that the two candidate briefings that were due to be held on 23rd and 25th March in Daventry District Council have been cancelled.

New Councillor Elected
On 25th November 2019, Daventry Town Council members voted in favour of John Tippett, thereby co-opting him as a representative of Abbey Central Ward.

Co-Option - Statement of Nominations
Further to the resignation of a member on Abbey Central Ward and with no requests received for the post to be filled by election, the vacancy for Abbey Central Ward is to be decided by Co-option at the Town Council meeting being held at Daventry Town Council on Monday 25th November at 18:30.

DTC supports residents over loss of parking on the Grange and Southbrook estates
This week, Daventry Town Council attended a planning meeting at Daventry District Council offices. Having listened to concerns raised by residents, the Town Council submitted objections to the proposed developments on garage sites on the Grange and Southbrook estates.
