Stargazing Live comes to Daventry

Daventry Town Council invites you to come along to Stargazing Live. This free event takes place at Daventry Museum on Saturday 1st April 2017 from 6:00pm until 10.00 pm.

A local 'Astronomy for Fun' group are putting on a starry event to coincide with the return of BBC Stargazing Live TV show at the end of March 2017.

Highlights of the evening include expert talks, opportunities to view the International Space Station and virtual reality tours of the universe via a demonstration on Mobile phone photography by the one and only Richard Matthews . So, bring your mobile phone along and have a go at taking a photo of the Moon through one of the various telescopes. Visitors can also virtual reality headsets.
